The Andromeda Galaxy is a massive galaxy in the constellation Andromeda. The most distant object visible to the naked eye, this 2 million light years away monster is on a head-on collision with the Milky Way. It already has 2 smaller galaxies trapped in its gravitational pull...M110 and M32. You can see both of these in this image as well...M32 is the elliptical galaxy just to the right of Andromeda, and M110 is the faint smudge to the upper left. Also known as M31, the Andromeda Galaxy is thought to have a super massive black hole at it's core.
