Lansberry Elementary School students debunk the myth of the Egg and the Equinox. According to the story, on the first day of spring when there are exactly 12 hours of daylight and 12 hours of night, it is possible to balance an egg on its end. The story goes on to say that this is not possible any other day of the year and that any attempt will merely result in the falling. According to the students research, not everyone can balance the egg on that day, that not every egg will balance, and most importantly, that it has nothing to do with the day of the year. An egg can be balanced any day of the year with a little effort (and no, there is no tape or glue holding the eggs up!)

See for yourself!
